Holding Space for Yourself: A Mindful Practice for Difficult Emotions
During times of heightened emotions, perhaps even conflict or turmoil, it can be helpful to notice all the sensations you’re carrying. One way to do this is to pay kind attention to sensations in your body. In this 10 minute meditation you will be guided through a short body scan. You will be invited to notice if you’re carrying any emotions that feel like regret, judgement, bitterness, criticism, or striving and also where you feel ease, joy, peace, and effortlessness, and where you feel nothing at all. Remember that anything you are feeling, physically, mentally, and emotionally is okay.
